Currently listening

I'm listening in five-minute snippets right now, but I plan to take let Pepin entertain me all the way to Oregon next Friday. Being transported to another place and time, another life, will help the hours fly by as I go to get my girl.

Read by Michel Chevalier who has a marvelous voice.

I read this book a few years ago and really enjoyed it. He has a humble quality and a sense of wonder that makes his writing beautiful.

And having the book read by someone with a great voice? Perfect.

Another wonderful listening book read by a great narrator is The Girl Who Stopped Swimming. The narrator is the author, herself, who was an actress before becoming a writer. It's a perfect listening book when you're on the road.
